I am having issues with horizontal lines and some moderate hissing during acceleration. Both of these are worse when the head lights are on. I have moved my ground to a much better location without making any progress on this.


I am leaning toward alternator noise. Is this rectifiable?

 

If moving the ground didn't help at all and you are hearing the hissing more and getting more video noise at acceleration, I would think it is alternator noise related. I am pretty sure they sell in-line noise filters, you could try that.

other than that I like it. Good piece and great functionality. I watch the news on the way to work and the simpsons on the way home.

 

shouldnt a blitzsafe help solve the problem? also is the channels fot the tv tuner clear besides the horizontal lines u get.
