Question on my Mercman harness

I have a 2006 TSX w/ navi and a mercman harness with a Balun

The signal is fed into an alpine pdx 4.100 and an 1.1000

Now the 1000 has setting for the input to be ".1-1v" and "1v-10v"

Where should it be set? If i have it set to .1.-1v it is obviously louder and with the gain set low it sounds good.

With it set to 1v-10v it definately is quieter, but i can turn the gains up quite a bit.

i prefer the .1-1v switch with gaines at like 20%, but want to make sure this is right/not hurting anything.

Thanks

The output of the factory HU with a 0dB ref signal is 4volts so use the higher setting.
