Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my alarm and was hoping someone on here could help me fix it.

Basically I have an 02 TL-S with a Python 990 2 Way Alarm. Everything was working fine until the battery in my remote died, it actually was dead the whole day and when I replaced it, it was no longer communicating with the car. none of the functions worked, so I had to open up with my key, and use the valet button to disable the siren.

Drove to the nearest dealer and he reprogrammed the remote back to the alarm, all the functions work now, except for the fact that when the alarm goes off on the car, the remote doesn't notify me, I would actually have to press a button on the remote, and then it would start the notification.

I went back to the dealer that programmed it, and he didn't wanna do further work on the car, saying that the remote was defective and I needed a new one, while I'm pretty sure it just needs to be programmed all over again.

I've looked thru the manual and it mentions something about page mode, and I believe I've enabled it, but still don't get notifications of the alarm going off until I push a button on the remote.

Anybody here have any type of experience with this type of system and know how to fix this problem?
