I just bought them, need to install them. I already know they have the clearance needed in the trunk. However after I took out the stock screens and now I'm really stuck on what the do next (took me long enough to figure out they just snap off). I've been searching on this forum for the past half hour and couldn't find anything I need some a DIY guide on this one. I read something about a honda/acura harness? Can I just wire these speakers in directly? What do I need to remove the stock 6x9's?

Thanks in advance

There are 4 screws, one in each "corner". Unscrew them maybe?

I see those, cbut they don't look like they can be opened with a standard screw driver (flat or philips)? Maybe I'm just blind, or my eyes are fooled by the light from my lighter. I'll take a look at it in the morning I guess..

And from then out it's just remove, plug in and attach and it's good to rock and roll?

I'll find out which wrench socket tomorrow. I wish I could swap them tonight though!! Can't wait.

Do you think it's safe for me to just cut out the wiring harness on my Stock Speakers? I mean I plan on ebaying them or keeping them "in case" something happens. I'll see how the jimmy rigging goes on that. Thanks

You're doing a speaker swap by the light of a lighter? Try not to burn anything.

I finally did the change. Took less than 20 minutes to get everything in and out. I ran a couple of Bass Tests on this 6x9, and I can definately say I'm impressed!! I don't think I'll really want to put a sub in there for a while. Now if I can get my hands on some Focal's for the front.
