PIC: finished band pass / port with foam insulation

stapled and taped around wood and all gaps on decklid! finished product...almost! seats have to be put back in, screen for center being made, no dynamat on backseat sheet metal because it's not needed! the bench seat has a huge foambacking that will provide the additional sound proofing. more neons being added! kman, hope you like it! labor intensive!

looks real nice man, how does it sound, i'm thinkin about facin my subs in through the cabin too, is it pretty loud....good SQ? and i think you said before that you had a high output alternator, where did u get that and what brand is it, any problems w/ it? thanx for the help

thanks! with all the insulation and the fact that

i can control subs through hu, eq, bring em up or down? it sounds great ! the backseats are like a shiatsu massage! j/k they were before all the insulation! and dynamat. the cabin is very tight! h.o alternator going in this week! kman

damn...you are a brave man to take your car apart like that. Wish i could listen to how your system sound. Mine sound like crap rite now. dunno what it.. will take it to the shop soon tho.

that foam came from bed, bath, and beyond! they have huge 1" + mats of the eggshell foam mat to put under your sheets for extra sleep support! that was a queen size sheet. i have had it for so long! i knew it would come in handy! it's not expensive, i forget the price. linen and things would have it too! kman
