PhatNoise/Kenwood Music Keg with an Alpine Head Unit??
Has anyone been able to use the Phat Noise/Kenwood Music Keg with an Alpine Head Unit? I hear that they (Kenwood) now has an RF modulator adaptor w/seperate controller, but my concern is the degradation of sound quality via RF instead of direct input to the head unit. I had the same issue originally to add XM to my factory '01 Acura CLS head unit--I used the Pioneer Modulator tuner, but got a Blitzsafe interface cable to go direct to the factory radio from the Pineer tuner without FM modulation.
Is there a known solution for the Music Keg with Alpine head unit to avoid the RF modulation...and anyway to have the Alpine head unit serve as the controller of the Music Keg instead of separate cluttering controllers??

have you checked into the kca-410c or the kca-801b... these adapters will allow you to input an aux audio signal into your alpine headunit... or you could just wait a couple of months for alpines harddrive to come out...
