People with Avic-d3/n3 units

Hey guys I have an avic d3 and I have been using my 3rd gen Ipod and it has been working great. Well my Ipod after so many years decided to take a poop so now I need to buy another Ipod. I was wondering if the guys that chimed in could tell me which ipod they have and what features work on the Avic unit. I was looking to get a 4th gen? 8gb nano just for the money factor but I searched on google and some people could not get them to work. Then I searched that some people with the 6th gen classic 120 GB's were able to display album artwork and such. Just wondering if any one has been able to get the nanos to work with the pioneer units.

The artwork is a nice little feature but thats a 100 dollar difference from the nano to the classic.

Thanks

i have a classic 80gb, an 8gb nano 2nd g i think (the small square one) and a 32gb touch 2nd g. the classic works great with the d3. the touch, i havent even tried it yet. and the nano has no problems. as far as album artwork im unsure about all that but i haven't even gotten album artwork to show up on the d3 with my classic. i will have to research that further.

I have a 32gb touch and movies won't play on the D3 when connected with the iPod adapter. Everything else works though, songs, playlists, podcasts etc... I was able to get movies to appear on the D3 with a 160gb iPod Classic.
