so WHo's BOse sound system is better?

I had the 95 maxima and now TL-S...
maxima has more speakers....
but what's the main difference?
which one is better and expensive quality???
anyone know?

It's better than:

99' TL compare to the 02' type S.
I have driven all this cars. Compare the sound to my TL and TL type S . All my personal opinion.

Maxima's all 95 to present speakers blows Acura away. I put them side by side and the maxima's shows more bass (Depth) and Highs. Also it can out crank the TL in volume 200 watts to our 150. I wish could swap amps between the 2.

My 97 Maxima had a "better bose" than my 99TL and now my 02TL-S. I cannot speak for the new Maximas.
The first thing I noticed when I picked up the 99TL was that the stereo was not as "loud", and the bass was not as deep as my Maxima.
So there, Maxima fans!!!

Agreed. My '97 Maxima SE had the non-Bose (all Clarion) system and I think it sounded as good as the Maxima Bose and sounds better than the '02 TL-S Bose. However, I think that OEM systems have become so good people forget how far they've come. Although I think it would have been better with separates in the doors (my leg always seems to block the driver's door speaker), it will suffice for me.

We should take a pole. It seems that many of us TL members at one time or another has owned a maxima. By the way I still have my Maxima. It sits next to my new TL. I love them both.

I also agree, my Maxima SE had Bose and it rocked, better than the one in my TL. Just curious though, Max owners with auto a/c, how does your climate control in the Max compare to that of your TL. My Max just couldn't hang with the TL's climate control
