Opinions on pioneer HU DEH-P8MP

Looks sweet, but if you loose the remote you look pretty screwed. I lost my old alpine remote and it KILLED me!! Looks sweet though, i heard through the grapevine that they have just comeout with a kit to change out the Accord stereo, hopefully yhe TSX one will be soon too.....

I can't see them making a deck that can't be fully controlled through the HU itself...
Remote is for convenience and not to replace controlling through the HU
