I was searching through my local craigslist and saw and ad for an older 2002 ALpine model. It is the Alpine IVA C800, and I started doing some research and found it was originally $2000!!!! The price is $250 obo but it doesnt include some type of cable. Theres a link to th is cable on ebay for $30 plus shipping. Im just wondering how good this deal is and if its worth it to pick it up.

To be honest i don't know much about that Amp. Just to give you my opinion though, for 250 bucks you can get a pretty sweet used amp on Ebay to meet just about any needs. Unless you're into competition, you should be able to find more than enough amp for your needs under 250. Just make sure the seller you buy from on Ebay has plenty of positive feedback history so you know they aren't lying to you. I will never buy new electronics again after some of the deals I have gotten on used stuff on Ebay. Bought from reputable sellers and have not had a problem yet.

 

Hey slick, that's a head unit... It looks pretty solid, but doesn't look like anything too special... Probably the motorized face that made it cost so much... For $280, I'd go for it... It's probably one of the better flip-outs that you're going to find for the money as long as everything works right...

 

7 yr old unit..probably shitty due to old dac's...who knows..try it out and see how it goes
