Non Navi TSX'ers

I haven't bought my TSX yet but I love coming to this board and reading all the posts! I think the TSX is one of the best cars out there hands down........!!! Now to business, I came across an article for the non-navi's out there, this is a unit by Pioneer that they say is adaptible to pretty much all systems out there...take a look and let me know what you think, or if there are people out there already thinking about getting it, let me know if there is a cheaper price..thanks!!!! :-)

Here is the link:

That looks pretty sweet. Navi isn't offered in Canada so I went for the Garmin iQue and I think it's the best bang for your buck out there. You could probably buy a set of wheels and the iQue for the price of the pioneer unit.

Where would you put it, aascsm?

Dan,
I'm considering the iQue for my wife's Pilot. Curious about how and where you have yours set up. I've seen a rather odd looking base weighed down with a beanbag thing. Seems bulky—and super dorky.

Anything you can share would be great.

The pioneer should fit in the storage compartment above the not an ashtray.

Here's a shot of my iQue setup (sorry for the quality):

You need to buy the car kit ($60) that has the beanbag mount and a semi-permenant mount kit ($10). The beanbag is used when you want to move your iQue to a different car like if you were to rent a car while on vacation. The semi-permenant mount is what you use in your daily driver and its basically just a mount that sticks on the dash. The car kit comes with the charger and speaker for voice navigation.

From what I have read, it is made to be pretty adaptible to most audio systems on the market....I suspect that would require an adapter kit from pioneer, or like Dan said, the storage compartment..

Also, just found some prices on Ebay for these units for around $1400 - $1600

Go to ebay and do a search for AVIC-N1
