Need a little Amp Advice

In latest install with my new Ford F-150, I have hit a snag. I was planning to use my Arc Audio 5150XXK under the rear seat but, it will not fit. I am needing a small footprint amp that will run a set of components(Rainbow Contour 5.25") up front and a sub(Elemental Designs 11Kv.2) running at either 2 ohms or 8 ohms. I may have to buy two seperate amps of the exact same dimensions and make standoffs to stack them. Does anyone know of a 3, 4, or 5 channel amp that is no longer than 14"? The big problem is finding a 4 channel amp that the bridged channel will run at 2 ohms. I have been looking at DLS, Audison, and a few others. I know the JL 300/4 could run at 8 ohms with 150 watts bridged.

I am selling my Memphis Belle and putting the Arc back in the Honda Pilot so I can probably spend in the $400-500 range if I have to.

Yeah, the 300/4 does come to mind as does that audison 60x4, which is even smaller.

Genesis has the Profile series... check out genesis-ice.com.

We just used 3 of these in an X5 and they sounded really good when we gotthem enough preamp voltage (were using LOCs and their OP was a little weak).

optomos...not sure the HiFonics is what I need. Thanks though.

elduderino....My concern is the Audison SRx4 does not say it will run at 2 ohm bridged. I check on the Genesis and it does not say either. They both say 4 ohm bridged. Have you run the Genesis at 2 ohm bridged. How about the DLS? Thanks for the input.

I don't think it will run at 2 ohms bridged.

The only one I can think of that will take 2 ohms bridged would be maybe the DLS Reference RA40 or the Ultimate A4(?).

So far the only amps I have found that will for sure work is the JL 300/4 running the sub at 8 ohm or the Boston Acoustics GT-40 which is supposed to be 2 ohm mono stable. I just do not know much about the Boston. I looked at the DLS Ultimate but, they are all too long. I may have to end up selling the brand new sub, that has not even arrived yet, and going to a 4 ohm sub. Either that is figure out a way to squeeze two amps in.
