This is kind of embarassing.
But how the #^$%^#$ do you use the Navi?

When I want to type in an adress all it lets me do is pick the state, city and street number. Doesnt allow me to add in the address to the place. Am I missing something here?

Also since my CL-S is an 01. I don't think the Navi. DVD is up to date. Has anyone updated there Navi. DVD with a more current version. The Honda dealer told me to visit acuranavi.com.

Guys I'm still in need of help here.
Not having any luck what so ever!

I've played with the nav. for about a total of 5 hours and still can't figure how to get my address # in.

I found that it will allow me to enter a home or business address only if I am physicaly in that current city. For example. If the CL and I are in Anoka, I can then enter the street address and home # in the unit. But if I want to enter an address to a home in Rochester. It wont let me. And yes I go back to the screen, and make sure I am in the right state and in the right city. I will type in Rochester ( for example ) and it will ask for a strett name. But it doesnt ask for a street number ( which is the home address # ).

Im sure a lot are getting sick of this thread. But any help would be greatly appreicated. I only have 23 more days to decide if I want to keep this car. After 30 days I'm stuck with or without a working nav. system.

 

I have an 06 TSX, so it could be completely different, but for me its:
1) Find by address
2) Enter City Name (if the city you are currently in is automatically entered, hit delete to enter another)
3) Enter Street Name
4) Enter Street Number

I always delete the city I'm in and enter the city I need.

Anytime I enter a st name, after that it always goes to the page where I can pick the st.

eg: if I enter 14th ST

the next page I can choose 14th ST NE or 14st SE etc...

And the next page is always the calculate route to... page.
It doesnt let me enter a stareet number.

The only time it lets me enter a street number is when the car is actually/physically in that center.


- Is there a way to reset the navi?

What if I disconnect the battery?
- Ive read that if the batt. gets disconnected I have to renter the navi pin # or something?
