So I'm debating between a double din navigation unit or a single din. I'm going to college next year and my dad's saying if i get a double din then it'll be easier to spot the nav. I want a double din and was thinking about making a cover for the head unit. My question is has anyone else done this? If so any pics and tips?

what do you mean by a cover? like something so that you cant see the radio from outside of the car?

 

exactly. i was thinking maybe a black plastic cover and putting velcro on the sides so i can pull it off when i get into the car and put it on when i leave.
