First off: I am thinking about taking a stock navi unit from a 02 Acura cl-s and putting it into my 99 Acura TL-p.

So, after I take the navi unit out of the 02 cl, could i then replace the console (the air vent, air controls, and all that stuff) with that of my 99 tl? The interiors are the same color just so you know.

ok, here are the problems i forsee. first, the 99 TL HU wouldnt work in the CL..i believe teh plugs are different...it also has the 6cd changer. you would have to make your own harness for the nav you buy, there is a thread in here about that. finally, i think you would be able to just plug the wires in his car into your existing dash for the climate control....so the only whack part about this would be that you need to make your own wiring harness...unless you try to buy the pigtails from a junkyard.

well.. i wasnt planing on putting my 99 HU in the cl. i was just planning on putting my climate controles in the CL in place of the navi screen. My 99 tl also has the acura 6 disc changer. Do you think I could take the harness out of the cl and put it in the TL (FOR THE NAVI SCREEN)??
