My new system

Finally took a pic of it installed: 12' kicker solo baric, 4 infinity reference 6 1/2's, 2 infity amps - mono and 4 channel. My system pounds so hard and has amazing laser liek speaker clarity. I can hear the speakers and the bass in my house when i park my car outside at even a real low volume level. This sound travels very far. Today in parking lots it was setting off car alarms.

wait a minute! there is no way that box goes to the back of his trunk right?? i think he just pulled it forward so you can see the amps. its a nice setup but if thats how you leave it all the time then holy shit man THAT SUCKS!

the amps were the biggest problem for trunkspace. they are so huge that there is absolutly no where else to put them. i had them screwed on top of the box so i can easily tune it myself, but also because there werent many other options.

yes, i have absolutly no trunk space left. the box cannot be pushed back any further because of the amps on top of it - unless i remove the top material of the trunk - kinda hard to explain, i hope u know what i mean. its like hte roof of the trunk that covers the bottom of the rear deck speakers. for soem stupid reason, it dips low (possible bc of the location of the stock sub) and i cannot get my amps under it. i may have ot remove the top lining so i can get some more trunkspace. ill see what i can work out.

you could try mounting the amps on either side of the box

wont fit...in the picture it looks like its possible, but the trunk narrows the deepr it goes in. the box itself bearly fits when pushed all the way back

if he mounted it them behind the box, he might have trouble tuning the amps

What is the little metal bar that goes across? I know it has something to do with the trunk. I can only push back my box to a certain degree because my amp doesn't clear those two little metal bars.

What's teh function of that shit and is has anyone removed it?
