Before I had a band-pass box. It was big, heavy and slid around in the trunk. The bass sounded good but with the tube I get louder, deeper sound. In my option it is a more efficiet use of the equipment I have. (760 watt amp and "10 Sub). The band-pass box is what the guys at the audio shop sold me with the system. I just changed it to this tube i got from a friend for $10 just to try it (and I like it better). If you guys have any other ideas for better inclosures im open to them. What do you think about another tube (exactly the same, sharing the amp) on the opposite side of the trunk for a symetirical look?
