I just bought two CL mirror sail panels and tweeter pods to install in my 02 TL-S. From quickly browsing the forum, it seems that many people have thought of this idea, but have quickly been shot down by other forum members and have decided not to do it because it is not a plug and play, drop in install. I say, nothing that a hacksaw and dremel can't fix!

Also, from looking at the CL wiring diagrams, it doesn't look like the CL tweeters have any sot of outboard crossover, and they look to be connected in series with the door panel speakers. So, I plan on just splicing the wiring leading to the TL door panel speakers. This will probably affect the impedance but I doubt it would fry the head unit. If any members know a trick to this or if I got some of this information wrong--for example, if there is crossover for the CL front door speakers and/or tweeter--please let me know.

If anyone else has done this, I invite them to post pictures of their work here.

I was never able to actually do this neat project, and now I no longer own the TL-S.
