Looking for recommendations for Sirius satellite radio install.......

for 2003 TL S w/ nav and factory stereo.

getting ready to install it and since there is no DIY info for 2nd gen about sat. radios, I need some info.

according to several installers, FM modulator is the way to go for best reception.

will I get the best sound also? I have a friend who installed a sat. radio and had the FM modulator installed, hardwired, and he says it sounds like a AM radio station.

is the blitzsafe conversion the best option for aux inline? i want to keep my factory HU but keep the CD quality sound from the sat. radio. i
s that possible???.

any input would be great appreciated.

i did a search and came up with nothing unless im not using the right key words.

thanks in advance.

I installed the Starmate 4 earlier this year using the Blitzsafe unit and it works great! It was well worth it IMO. You get CD quality sound. Good luck.
