Line out Converter through front speakers?

Line out Converter through front speakers?
I added a sub and amp to my TSX using a line out converter tapped through the rear 6X9's. The problem is that the rear 6X9's play a 50hz peak, the signal is not linear. It sounded like ass. Really boomy.
Has anyone noticed this when running a line out converter through the rear 6X9's?
Has anyone ran a line out converter through the front door speakers? The frequency response is alot more linear. Would running the lineout converter through the front speaker signals theoretically sound better?

Yes, much, much better. However, you might just want to grab the whole signal from the stock amp and pipe that to your sub amp if you want to go all the way.

I plan on getting the signal from the wires at the amp.

The rear signal doesnt seem to be as linear as the front.

This is why you should ditch the factory amp, even a small 40 watt/ch unit would be an improvement over stock. I can tell you that the stock HU is flat so you will get a full signal to your sub and other channels. Then you can Eq or adjust the HP/LP filters to your liking.

If i was amping the whole sysem i would do what you reccomended. Im only planning on adding a sub. Is there a better way of doing it? Are you talking about getting a signal from the 14 pin connector at the amp instead of tapping the speaker wires??
