kicker l7 blown?
kicker l7 blown?
sup guys i had a kicker l7 and had it hooked up to a kicker amp i was testing my system out and the sub was working fine. Then it stopped hitting and got really hot so i turned it off. when i went to turn it back on the sub wouldnt work.. i looked and saw that the sub was locked meaning that the middle piece in between the rubber square would not move at all.. does this mean the sub is blown?
if the speaker is not moving at all when you push on it then yes its blown you somehow managed to fuse the coils together.....you illteraly melted the coils.....i blew my L7 15" because it was wired wrong.....and it wasn't fused together like that.....it just smoked alot....
