I was looking through another thread and saw there was a thread mentioned about "Keyfob Issues," but I couldn't seem to find it, so I'm posting this. I recently bought an 02 TL-S and I did not receive a keyfob with it. After doing some research I found that it's not difficult to program yourself, so I would like to buy one. The only problem is I see that you have to match the FCC ID number. Is there anyone in the car I could find that being I did not receive a remote with it initially? Also, would my key still work with the vehicle after the new keyfob was programmed with it? Lastly, is there any difference if I were to buy a remote that says it has no memory seating? If there are any other tips anyone can offer I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

 

I bought a key fob and a chipped key from my local Ace Hardware store. They reprogrammed all the remotes for me and even called a week or so later to make sure everything was working ok. I would recommend this service to anyone, like you, who asked.
