kenwood music keg
ok, so i want to get the Kenwood KHD-CX910 Music Keg. the only thing i am concerened about is that inorder for it to be used in my car, i would need the KCA-R70FM adapter so i can add it to any stereo that has an FM radio. wouldnt that adapter make it sound like crap? what other options do i have?

yes, it would sound like crap.
upgrade your deck and get one that can play mp3 cds
or I believe you can add an mp3 player to the stock deck with a blitzsafe adaptor, but I'm not sure how that works. there are threads about it in the AV/electronics section.

I love my Neo Car Jukebox. Approaching 2500 songs and only used 12 of the 20 gigs. For $299 I honestly can't think of any MP3 solution on the market that can touch it. Car bay.... PC bay... the HD in a portable housing which slides into either bay.... wired remote that runs from the Car bay to wherever you want in the cabin... and mini infared remote to control the wired remote. $399 would get you 80 gigs but I can't even fathom having that many songs. $75 Blitzsafe adapter allows you to hit the CD button twice which goes to "CD1" and voila, aux input source. Pics in my sig below.

Get the blitzsafe adapter, there is a link in the AV area for where I bought mine and got it within two days and they were nice enough to immediately ship a new one once they sent the wrong one.
I think I paid 68$ in total...

It's just a HD inside, so ya, you can swap any HD you want as long as it's under 120 gigs which I think is the max anyone has successfully used.
