JVC KW-AVX830 DD - Install Tips?
I am purchasing a JVC "KW-AVX830" to install in my 2000 TL (No Nav).
I have the TL harness connector; Metra 95-7868B Kit, and a backup camera.
I am planning to use the existing stock TL speakers.
Any tips that I should be aware of before I disassemble the dash?
Thanks

Ive got the same deck in my car, I installed it myself and was pretty straight forward. I dont know if youve installed a screen before, but if you want it to play while driving, ground the wire thats supposed to go to the handbrake.

There was a forgotten piece of information in that exchange just now.
You can splice in an RCA head to the wiring from the bose connector, which then you may connect the stock subwoofer. This is in the DIY audio section.

Kw - avx830
Just installed the JVC KW -AVX830 in a MK5 golf Was going to pay someone £75 to do the job but done it myself, a good decision. Its really not that difficult!
Also, if you want to watch DVDS while the car is in motion, strip the Black wire behind the headunit and crimp the parking break wire to it! SORTED!!!
