I have a chance to get a new 12W6V2 for $350, can anyone tell me if this is a decent price? Also, I've got a Clarion amp that puts out 300 watts RMS. Will this be enough power? I'd upgrade eventually but not yet. I know these are simple questions, I don't know much about this stuff. Thanks

 

hummm $350 is a decent price for one 12w6v2... i think i paid $285 for mine... but that is cuz i bought so much stuff that he gave me a special price... now for the amp... i really dont think that clarion amp would push this speaker since the clarion is probably 300w @ 4ohms and these speakers are dual 4ohms which means you would have to either wire them to 2ohms or 8 ohms.. either way i dont believe this amp would push this speaker... i am pushing mine with a jl 500/1 ....

 

That will be enough power....but you should give it 500 watts to see its true potential!
