JL Audio in 08 TSX?

I'm looking at doing a full JL Audio system in my 08 TSX( non nav, automatic). I'll be keeping the factory deck, but want to replace the factory speakers in the factory locations and add a sub as well as an amp or amps. I don't want to go insane with the sub. Just something that JL already sells. Meaning no going crazy and customizing my trunk.

Anybody out there done this? What would you recommend?

Any of the current JL amps will work fine with your TSX HU. As far as the Sub enclosure, check out unclad4’s custom stuff (see the sponsored sales section). While you are there, pick up one of my harnesses; you will need it for your install.

Check out the FAQs for the TSX audio. Lots of good upgrade info there too.

Thanks for response. I will for sure be getting your harness once I get everything ready to go.

I guess I should clarify further. My main concerns would be on the component speakers. I want to keep everything in the factory location. I'll be removing the rear 6x9's. I'll have components in the front doors, but I'm not sure about the rear doors though. I'll be the only one in the car 95% of the time. The other 5%, I'll have people in the car, but probably won't even have the system on. It's for my enjoyment only. I don't know if keeping the rear doors empty will sound great for me up front or screw up the soundstage alltogether.

For the front, I'm considering either the VR600 CSI, C5-650, or the ZR650 CSI. I don't even know if the ZR's will fit as it's a 6 3/4. Or if they are that much better than even the VR's to justify the price jump. I'm the kind of person who likes to do it right, the first time.

It’s personal preference, I have 6x9 3ways in the rear but I’m only running them as woofers now. I think I like the sound a lot better just from the front. If you run the rear doors you can always tweak it with the fader.
