Jensen SSR2000 Sirius Install
Anybody tried to install this item yet in a 2ndG TL? If so, where did you install the base unit?
Particulars: base tuner + remote
base tuner --> 5" x 7" X 1.5", can't be inverted (no rear deck!) due to cooling considerations. Thought about under the driver's seat, but it seems pretty tight w/o removing the seat itself first. Also thinking about horizontal (appears to be acceptable for cooling) on the inside sides of the trunk, but not sure if the liner could hold it up or if there is any brackets that could be rigged to hold the unit.
remote--> about the size of a CB microphone; has coiled cord back to base tuner; slides into holder/holster that velcro's into place. Thinking about mounting holster to rear of center console under heating outlets (don't use the ash tray anyway!), to keep dash clean and cut down on possible thefts (who would look there, and could always remove from holster and drop into foot well covered with a jacket or something).
Any help/thoughts?
Thanks!!!
