Do you really need all that bass on the good´old TL?
A good Pair of 12s should fill enough for any type of Music.

Then Again Im just running a Single 12 JL Audio W6v2@500RMS in a 32hz Box and its More than Enough for Me (And the Guy in the Car next to me) for What I listen To on a Daily Basis.

Maybe if we could Know what pairs of 12s You have?? Brand, Model, Etc.

Well in the right box it is known as one of the best sounding subs made, so that's a plus. It won't be louder than a pair of typical 12's, but it will be a great piece of equipment. Just build the box right, prefab won't cut it as you probably know. If you port it (and I hope you do), follow Andy W.'s advice at JBL. Build the box as big as you can, tune as low as you can, and EQ out the peak if any is present.

Then comparatively the JBL will be a destroyer of worlds in the right box. IN THE RIGHT BOX being extremely important. Build it big, build it strong, and if you are porting it, tune LOW. like 28-30hz or so, and poly-stuff that sucker. You will probably want a better amp after you get it up and running.

www.bcae1.com consider it bootcamp before proceeding.

Share your budget for the whole system, I'll come up w/ some options. Take note, I heavily favor systems with active crossovers and DSP. So my suggestions will likely include a processor of some sort to let you get the perfect sound stage. The sub stage is going to be the easy part. Also share what tools and skills you have as far as fabrication.
