I'm looking for an expensive and intensive project so I figured this would do it. I'm actually not looking forward to the expensive part but I am assuming it would be.

I had a loaner MDX (2011) last week and was shocked at how nice the navi was compared to my 2007 MDX navi. Many more pixels, much more contrast...just sharp looking. Plus, I loved the yellow lines that indicate where you are backing up when you are in reverse.

The 2007 navi model does not have this feature. Is there a way to retrofit this? Has anyone attempted or done this successfully? I have a lot of experience in electronics and was thinking this would be a interesting project.

And for what it's worth, I would never trade in my 2007 for a newer model. I'll keep my '07 forever---I just love that vehicle.
