Hey,
I wanted to install my laptop in my car using it as an Music Juckbox. Is there any sort of mounting platform for laptops or anything. I was planning on just getting a casset that connects to a cd player but instead plug it into the headseat jack on my laptop and just use it for music. If anybody has done this let me know, any info would be great. Thanx

 

I was looking for the same kind of thing but for my pda which has a mp3 player hooked up to it. I haven't has any success find one but i know that these products are out there. Can someone please help us. As for the laptop holder/stand I have seem them in those in some Cadillac Devilles which were used as higher end taxi's.

 

you basically have to goto a local stereo shop or do it yourself...
it's more of a custom job...I'll post pics when i'm done with this project in the spring time...work on other things right now..

 

Look into police & fire rescue equipment suppliers, such as galls.com Our laptops are mounted in our police crusisers, easy in & out. If you can't find it on thier website give them a call, they have them. They mount with a stand similar to the older cell phone handset holders. The ones we hav in our cruiser rotate to either driver or passenger position.
