if money is not a factor eclipse is the shit. if money is a factor (ie. ME) i went with the cheap pioneer crap. picture quality is decent but on a 7inch screen its not that noticible.

I actually have the Kenwood KVT -911. It has performed Flawlessly, It has the touch screen, DVD player capable (which plays both CDs, CDrs, DVDs, DVD+R,DVD-R). The one advantage of this player is it is NOT fully motorized, so I can access my temp gauges with ease. I have a custom made Kit for the installation (before they came out with the OEM kit) which allows me to have the unit flush mounted with the Dash, which gives me the ability to have a "faceplate/cover" to hide the unit completely out of site. I am actually thinking about selling the unit, PM me with questions!

I have an Eclipse AV-8022 and AV-8132 now and I had an Eclipse 7002. They are just incredible. Picture quality is awesome at almost any angle. You can not go wrong. I did have an Alpine IVA-C800. Awesome unit but, the picture quality was not as good as Eclipse. Plus, both my new Eclipse models have built in DVD and the Alpine had to have an external DVD.

I have never tried a Pioneer myself. I had Alpine and Eclipse. My first screen was an Eclipse 7002 and since then, I just stick with Eclipse. Just great quality and I never have problems.
