HU Wont Power Up
I'm trying to test this used in-dash DVD player by connecting red wire to 12V + and black wire to Negative
But it's not powering up
Is this POS toast ? Am I supposed to do something with the orange wire "ignition switched input power" ?

Yeah, for testing purposes connect that orange wire to 12v.
When you finalize the install you will need to wire it differently though.
red needs to go to constant 12v power, (always hot)
orange needs to go switched ignition power (Only on with the ignition)
black goes to ground
