Hi guys. I'm a little new to this forum, but I see that lots of you have upgraded the stereo's in the CL - I'd like to keep the stock head unit, but add an amp or two and better speakers. I've asked at a couple of shops like Circuit City, Al & Ed's, et. al., but they always get a confused look and tell me that it's impossible to upgrade the Bose system w/o completely replacing the head unit.
Is this correct?

You can still keep stock headunit for
sure,all you need is a line-converter

I upgrade everything except headunit,

just find somebody else since they know nothing about our car audio ...
