wow, that is a really tough question, considering you really cant buy a bose system for a car from a car audio place, as far as i know at least.

worthless...
I wouldn't pay the $80 bucks that you paid for the two new door speakers for the rest of the entire system. You would have to find some sucker that you would never have to face again to pawn it off on him.... and then make sure that he doesn't get a chance to listen to it first!
I see that you have fallen victim to the upgrade spiral. Once you get the taste of a speaker upgrade, it is hard not to want more!
If you really want to scrap your stock system and start from scratch... that is EXACTLY what I would do with it... I would just scrap it... I wouldn't want to burn anybody with it.
Hope you're still at least enjoying the POLKs...
They would sound better, of course with legit' electronics... arghhhh Acura Bose sucks!

Don't bother...the BOSE headunit alone from Acura retails at around $720. Then you've still got the other 2 speakers & "sub". It's not cheap and not worth the $$.

Well, you may have seen the guys post, but someone is turning in their TL and needs the stock system. He will buy it from me but I have no idea what to charge.

replacement cost
I'd shop around and find out what you will have to pay for the aftermarket system that you end up replacing it with.
Yes, the aftermarket system will/should sound better, but you still don't want to have to pay an arm and a leg for it. If someone needs the stock unit. What happened to theirs? If you are seriously interested in dealing with him, I'd work out some kind of a win-win solution. Again, find out how much your new system would cost you first, and then see what you can get to offset the cost. Obviously, the guy doesn't want the stock sytem for sound quality... so someting else is up?
You will be up for a big project as well. It could all be worth it in the end, but just think of the work as well as the money...
