How do I make DVC subs 1 ohm?

I'm trying to get my subs to run at one ohm but I'm lost. This confuses me really bad. I have 1 amp which is bridged. So I have 1 speaker wire coming out of the amp which then splits into 2 wires (1 for each sub). Now how do I wire the subs in the box? Can someone give me a detailed explanation please? I've tried to do this several times but its not coming out right because the subs hardly move and my lights dim very bad so I know something is wrong. Should the wire split in the box again into 2 wires and from there straight into each coil? All positives from the amp to all positives on the subs and the same with the negatives?

Depends which model subs you got man. What is the impedence of each voice coil on your subs? Why are you trying to get a 1ohm load? If you have dual 4 ohm voice coils you can do this. All you have to do is wire all your voice coils in parallel. here is a good diagram.

Visit JL Audio's tutorial's and you will find some good info.

I have 2 RF Power DVCs into a RF 1100A2 and they sound like they need more power. I'n probably just gonna buy new subs but I figured I might as well test it out at 1 ohm. I thought maybe I would like it that way. Do you think I'll mess up the amp? Its not 1 ohm stable...

Is that the power series amp? I know the older Rockford models were made solid as a rock. i don't know about the newer ones. I had a rockford amp running at 1ohm and it had no problems. I see no prob running your amp at 1ohm for a short period of time. I really do not think you are gonna be able to squeeze much more power out of your amp though.
