Help: Removing Factory Strereo 2004 Tsx

I need to get to the back of my factory stereo on my 2004 Tsx to install a mp3 player Rca jacks. I'm not sure where to start with removing the center console. Please help.

Refer to the DIY sticky for removal of the TSX console. There are detailed scematics there. Its not difficult-but be cautious of scratching or breaking the trim. Note where the assorted clips and screws are located in the scematics. Using the right tool(s) won't hurt.

For the TSX, the aux jack is on the bottom of the factory stereo. You don't need to remove the whole thing. In fact, you only need to remove the storage bin. Remove the storage bin and use an CD as a mirror to look up. You'll see where the AUX jack is.

so how do you remove the storage bin? any advice would be helpful - I'd like to add a direct iPod connection on my 2004 tsx too.

It will work. I use and recommend the usa spec pa11-hon2y. It has a few more features, and costs a lot less.

That site is interesting though, I can't believe they have a video installation tutorial, very nice!

Also, to remove the storage pocket, open the door, put your hands on both sides of the inside of the pocket, and push outward (toward both doors) and pull straight back... hard! You won't break it, but it will come out.
