Help with MP3 Player and Blitzsafe adapter.

I've read all the threads on the Blitzsafe adapters and I'm still confused. I'm looking to add a portable MP3 player to my existing system. I've figured out how to setup the power, remote control (using Creative Zen 20GB) and I want the sound to go through a Blitzsafe adapter. My question is, which one?

HON/AUX DMX V.1 or HON/AUD DMX V.1D

My 03 CLS has the stock unit (built in changer) and I just want to make sure I still have full use of it.

Yes, it is as simple as that and I will do that if one of the hundreds of people who already have one don't answer. It would be nice to have the answer on the forum so that everyone doesn't have to call.

This should be a sticky here or be put in the Extremely Useful Topics section.

Does the headunit have to be removed to plug in the Blitzsafe adapter or can we somehow reach in behind the headunit after removing a couple trim pieces and be able to plug it in that way??

No, I put it in without taking the radio out. It was a little frustrating and patients was needed but I got it in with the help of a screwdriver and only taking off the right side of the console.

Cool, thanks. So the input is on the passenger side of the headunit when in the dash correct?
