thats not true. go to www.crutchfield.com and call their customer service rep.. you can change just your head unit, but i recommend getting a new amp. you can use your stock speakers. i'm going to put in an amp, a sub, and a new headunit. if you order your headunit elsewhere, they probably won't give you the necessary wiring harness and install kit needed to properly install the head unit.

or check out the other thread, http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=144325

you should find some pertinent info there.

no you dont need too, but you will need some type of adapter or have someone bypass the amp

you can still use your bose system, but there is a remote turn on that you need to hook up so that it will turn on with ur in dash. As for the Metra kit, it takes a long time to get that ordered. I work at a shop and it took metra 2 months to get my kit for me

What if you change the amp also will that help the problem?
