Has anyone replaced the stock radio but kept the stock Bose speakers?
I am wanting to put a indash but i was told i need to replace all of my Bose components..please reply with past experiences..

thats not true. go to www.crutchfield.com and call their customer service rep.. you can change just your head unit, but i recommend getting a new amp. you can use your stock speakers. i'm going to put in an amp, a sub, and a new headunit. if you order your headunit elsewhere, they probably won't give you the necessary wiring harness and install kit needed to properly install the head unit.

you can still use your bose system, but there is a remote turn on that you need to hook up so that it will turn on with ur in dash. As for the Metra kit, it takes a long time to get that ordered. I work at a shop and it took metra 2 months to get my kit for me
