I've just recently purchased an 04 TL w/o navi because the salesman told me that it wouldn't be another 3-4 months before they got one in satin silver w/ navi. At first I thought it was no biggie to live w/o a navigation because I was thinking of putting in an aftermarket tv in but now I don't where those indash would go ... I know.... I should have thought of that!!!

I went to a couple of shops around my area but they stared at me blank because the car is new and they don't wanna mess it. I was thinking of getting a fix screen to replace the navi but that would mess up the climate control screen .... If you guys could get me any advice with this problem I greatly appreciate it .... Thanks!!!

Excuse me if I'm being stupid, but why would you want to watch a DVD in the car in the first place? Besides being illegal in most states, how can you watch a movie while driving. Besides, all the money and stuff you spend to modify your car will be thrown down the drain when you go to sell it. I'm going thru that right now with my '02 TL-S, which I'm selling to get the 04. I've got a exhaust system, and I can trade it with that on the car, so I'm basically loosing over half of what I paid for my aftermarket stuff. It's just such a waste, and I wondered why anyone would want to watch a movie while driving? Please don't take the question wrong, I'm just curious why someone would want to do it.

I would love to have the DVD video! It's not like I would watch it going down the road. I have a job where I drive a lot during the day. There is a lot of time when I am early for an appointment, or somebody is late....and instead of just sitting there, I could be watching a DVD....maybe a Jenna Jameson.

I had a 2000 Eclipse which I bought brand new before I got the TL ... among other stuffs, I also got a DVD and a TV in it as well ... aftermarket stuffs that i put on cost me over 8g and when i traded that car in for 5g, the only thing i took out was the DVD .... but that's cool because it's a sport ..... so yeah I definitely want a DVD in my TL and who cares if u can't get it back when u trade the car in because by that time the junk is probably too old that you don't want it no more
