General DVD Conversion Questions - All Acuras
For any DIY'ers of the nav to dvd conversion…
I can't use a rocker switch in place of the toggle switch that's included with Dom's RGB converter, can I? I assume I can't because the toggle switch allows one current to pass, while "blocking" the other, and vice versa in the alternate position. A regular rocker switch turns a signal on or off. That means that I would need a dual rocker switch / button setup to replicate the toggle. Am I thinking correctly?

The toggle switch on Dom's conversion simply completes the circuit to interrupt video1. If you use a single-pole single-throw rocker switch it works fine, you're just completing the circuit.
One word of warning, I found a really cool SPST rocker with a blue LED that I wanted to use, but Dom's toggle is not 12V so the connection didn't light the LED. (Oh well) But the rocker works fine.
