Front speaker wiring help

I am replacing the stock Bose system in my 98 CL 3.0 and I have a question about the wiring for the front speakers. Where do the wires separate for the tweeter and door speaker? I think there is only one pair of wires coming from the Bose amp in the trunk. Is there a crossover mounted somewhere? I was planning on using the factory wiring, but now I'm not sure partly because I'm having a hard time following the wires but also the wires look pretty small, maybe 20awg. I would run new 16awg wires but getting them to the door looks difficult. Any help would be appreciated.

Well I found a way to feed new wire into the doors without drilling new holes, so I think I'll just run all new speaker wire now. There was a small slot at the bottom of the wire clip in the door just big enough for 16g wire to fit through.

Does anyone know what the thickest guage wire would fit through this rubber thing? And is there a good place to hide the crossovers in the doors?
