foam repair

one of my JL Audio 10'' w3 dual voice coil subs has a punctured foam.

another one of them has slight abrasion. i want to build a new box and

wanna use all of my subs. Theres a fix-it kit on ebay. Will it work?

how high is the DIY-difficulty?

Well I have never done the entire foam replacement before. The last time I had a punctured foam issue was way back and here is what I did Since it was just a hole and the foam was all still in tact I added a piece of electrical tape to the back side of the foam. It worked well! If you want to do it, make sure its very clean so the tape sticks. I would think duct tape might work better. It worked for me
