Finally, AUDIO solution for RF modulator and factory headunit
Plug adapter into cd changer port, plug your audio into adapter via RCA cables, and you're done! Sound is a zillion times better, and full audio controls in factory headunit function as they are supposed to.
Price is $75 plus shipping

It will work on ALL factory acura/honda radios, with or without factory cd changer, even the in dash 6 disk changers it works with. Sound quality is excellent, and best of all, like I mentioned above, eliminates rf modulators, eliminates having to us headphone outputs, etc etc.

How does the adapter work? I mean is it a cd? or does it just fit into the cd port? are there any wire hanging out? what does it look like? do you have any pics?
I am very interested because I am tired of my rf modulator!!

I'd be interested in what your offering, but can you provide more detail as to the specs? How easy is it to install (I'm just newbie to ripping my car up ) And how does it look like ? I'd be interested to use it to hook up my portable mp3 cd player to see how good it works...

I will have to take a picture of it. What it is is the factory plug (just like the one that would come on the factory cd changer), which has a cable that goes into a black box, out of the box are left and right audio RCA cables. That's it, hit the cd button till you get to changer, and your off

how about a "Y" adapter to splice my changer & a DVD player into the same input plug in the back of the factory unit?
Is there already something like this & I'm just oblivious?

My 2.2CL is non-premium w/ No Bose. Does my HU have a changer port? I'd like to put a DVD player in with visor screens and I would LOVE to keep the factory HU to keep that "stealth" look.

StreetEffectz,
As I recall you also have an RGB adapter that will work with the Nav system. Are you thinking of making a package deal with the audio adapter? If so how much are we talking for the whole deal?

http://store.autotoys.com/cgi-bin/wfp53024.storefront
streeteffectz, I would prefer to order from you since your price is cheaper and I trust you guys more than that website, since you know acura install inside out. Could you please post a pic of the unit you are selling!

Alright, finally someone posted a pic of the back of their stock stereo.
http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...threadid=84134
I don't understand how it is going to hook up to the headunit considering that the two open ports are used by the stock harnesses. How else is it supposed to work?
StreetEffectz, can you please provide us with some infor, because the are a bunch of us that want to order this piece.

i got mine... will install once the rest of my parts are in.
the adapter looks good... it has a plug for the factory radio on one end... a lil convertor box... then two rca jacks for the audio source.
i suppose if you had audio switcher with rca output (all of them) you could hook up infinite sources to it...
just get an automatic switcher and ya dont gotta worry bout buttons.
thanks Ron!

Question about this device. Will it work with Kenwood Sirius Satellite radio, where I can use the RF modulator setup but not have to tap in through the antenna? Would I be able to hook up the satellite radio through RCAs?
Thanks.
Thanks.
