A few quick Q's bout Audio System.
Im about to purchase a few subs roughly with these Specs : Imped - Dual 4 ohms, Frequency Response - 33Hz- 150Hz, Peak music power (Watts) - 500, Power Handling ( RMS/Total) ( Watts) - 250/500, Sensitivity- 85.2 dB.
My Question is the RMS watts, i understand that the Peak Watts is useless wen you look at subs, so thas where i turn to the Rms section, i dont realli understand wat they meant by 250/500? Do they meant 250-500 Rms watts? Would i be able to get an amp to support those subs all at 500 rms? or would that be a realli bad idea using max rms? If someone can please shed some light, it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

it would probably be easier for people to help if they knew the brand of speaker you are looking at.. the 250/500 is saying that the speaker can handle 250w max rms or 500w max peak... you could probably get away with powering these subs with anywhere from 150-250w..
