Feelings about clarion?

I am aboutto strip my system out of my Legend and was looking at the new clarion stuff. I want to use their amps and speakers (6.5 components in the front and rear, 4 DVC 10's in the trunk. Anyone know if that is over loading the bass and which of the clarion amps I'll need? I already have the APX400.4 Also which signla processor/crossover would you all suggest using?

I have heard/seen some nice Clarion stuff but have never used it myself. I dont think it is bad so much as not as popular as others.

Yeah I am beggining to have second thoughts about that many 10's in the car. Between the noise, the weight, the amout of time needed to design somthing that could fit, and then amount of work needed to polish and get a system like that looking show quality I would need a ton of money to let someone do it, or a lot of time to do it on my own, and I don't have either. But at 100 bucks a 10 it's hard to say no, know what I mean. . . .

I used a Clarion Pro Audio head unit (w/wireless remote) attached to one of their 6-Disc changers, wired to an MTX amp, driving a mix of Kenwood, Boston Acoustic, and MTX speakers... LOVED every minute of it! Personally I wouldn´t go with Clarion Amps.. Id go for an MTX powered system; Serious Power, Extremely Reliable, and Affordable! my 2cents

I have clarion amps right now, Really clean, really affordable and the work ell with my crossover. . .The reason I am going to all Clarion is b/c of the fact that I have a contact that can get me hooked up with clarion . . .
