Factory CD Changer Question

Factory CD Changer Question
I just bought a used 2004 TSX with Navi. It only has 36k in miles. About a month since i've owned it and the CD player is no longer working. In the middle of playing a CD it just stopped and said Error on the display. I've tried a ton of discs in all of the slots available. The CD player responds to discs, they start to spin and after a short period Error is displayed.
I saw in one of the threads someone got a quote for $1200 for a replacement. If I have to pay that much I'd just get a custom system installed. This just happened and I haven't called the dealership yet.
I was just wondering if any of the audio guru's here might have a tip on a quick fix or is this most likely just a bad disc changer and time for a new one. This is the factory system.
Thanks

The TSX has a 48 month/50K warranty, so it might still be covered, depending on when the 2004 was originally purchased.
I'm guessing you didn't buy it from a dealer? If you have a reputable dealer in your area, you may want to bring it in and see what they say.
