Extra audio inputs on stock 01 CLS headunit?
 

I just bought an iPod and really don't like using the tape adapter to play it in my car. I know we have some weird proprietary audio input in the back of our stock head unit, but do i lose any functionality by buying an adapter for it? Does anyone even sell the adapters anymore?

Yeah, it's the blitzsafe adaptor. Contact Streeteffectz he sells them. It is the BEST possible way to get an input into the headunit. It just plugs into the back of the headunit. It gives you two RCAs to plug into. To access the input you press the CD button on the headunit twice. Perfect for the IPOD
