Eclipse E-Com

Does anyone know how much the Eclipse E-Com system costs? I was told that the E-Com system will eventually support satellite radio, anyone know when they are going to come out with this, if it's true?

Depends on what you want. I have the eariler version of the e-com. The cd-changer to read the navi discs were about 150. the commander itself was about 120 and the gps was about 200, all courtesy of ebay. Retail, each piece runs about 300 to 400. The new e-com advance is in the same ball park. But I have the old AV5101 that needs each piece and has the flip out monitor. E-com works well with regular head units, but I wanted the flip out monitor to see exactly were I am going. The new eclipse head units incorporates everything together.

The Eclipse Commander (E-Com) is a hideaway device that allows you to have voice recognition (windows, radio, navigation), play mp3s, speaker phone (for your cell).

Check it out: www.eclipse-web.com

Vegeta1, thanks for the navigation notes, but that wasn't my question.

I heard they are going to provide an add-on to the e-com for satellite radio (Sirius or XM).

Eclipse is really a pain in the ass company. They don't let anyone sell their products online, so the only place to find out anything is their own website, which sucks. They don't even give MSRP. Plus they hardly have any real dealers anywhere (no tweeters around here) and the few dealers they do use don't carry anything in stock.

I got a 8443 too and I want to get some of the ecom but its such a hassle to get...I don't understand eclipse marketing at all.
