DVD screen resolution for 02 tls?

Does anyone know the exact resolution and/or timings on that screen? I know its an Alpine system but don't know where to get the specs. I know its RGB so I was going to use ATI Radeon video card which supports custom resolutions and timings. I figure why go with a converter when you can pipe it directly to RGB to play dvd movies, MP3... Thanks a mill...

Okay...I found it..resolution is 1440x234 at 60hz. Okay now I need the last piece of the puzzle and I think its kinda technical so Steve please take a look. From the instructions, there is a Red Green Blue signal and one extra cable for sync info...is that Horizontal or Vertical sync? Thanks again.

A PC VGA output will not work on the navi display screen. The navi screen is Analog RGB with composite sync. No vertical or horizontal sync input. If you can get analog RGB you might be able to create a composite sync circuit from the PC's vertical and horizontal signal.

It would be more versatile to create a Video On My Navi using Pioneer AVC-RGB1 with composite input and use a video card with "TV out". This way you could also plug in any other video source. The resoluiton will not as high as RGB signal and require large fonts at 640X480.

From a link to purchase cables online it was VGA hd-15 to 5 BNC conncectors. it said to connect to an RGBS monitior just connect 4 of the 5 BNC connectors. I assume that is only if your video card supports composite sync in the first place.

Another question what exactly is the resolution and refresh of the lcd?

Also take a look at these links?
