DVD player location

Hey, I have an 03cls, this is a question for all of you that have a dvd player installed. Where did you put it?

I have a DIN sized player and don't really want to put it in the trunk, I would prefer it inside the car so it is accessible. I saw the photo of someone who mounted it on the trunk-entry lid on the rear seats, but my player is a cm too wide on each side. Maybe I should just cut a bit of the plastic.

Yea, but I kinda would prefer to leave that empty for paperwork and stuff.

Here's where I put mine... it took a little bit of dremelling (okay, alot) to get it to fit in the space, but I think its well worth it... I pulled out the rear console and installed it from the bottom side...

Additonally there is space to store two or three dvd boxes on top and still have the console close. Its also nice to have the lock on there.

you can always put it under the seat for the stealthy look so nobody will see it, and it leaves u free to use everything in the car still.

i personally put my PS2 in the glovebox because i have an 04 TL and the glovebox is small so i don't really use it to hold anything i just keep the little MANUAL PACKAGE they give u in the trunk.

I thought about putting it under the driver's side seat, but I was concerned about the wires under the seat. Is there a way to pull the carpet up? I don't really want to drill blindly.
